The company was founded in 2004, specializing in the production of outerwear padded with real goose down. The history of Duvetica is relatively recent but has enjoyed great success over time for the quality and modern design of its garments. The strategy is particular: to direct sales at the top of the market and, initially, only to the Japanese one. According to the designers Stefano Rovoletto and Giampiero Vagliano, many Italians, returning from the Rising Sun, wondered what the origin of the brand known in Japan was and how to be able to trace it in Europe, to then discover with surprise that it was a made in Italy. In the name, the company vision: "duvet" (the term from beyond the Alps for the prized duvet bow) and "ethics" (at the base of the production chain). The luxury composition of the final product is varied: the gray goose feathers come from France, the interiors are Japanese and Italian, the trendiest fabrics.
